Intro to Darkroom - April 15 & 22, 6 to 9 p.m.
What You Will Learn:
Our "Intro to Darkroom" workshop is a hands-on, 2-week class designed for those who are new to the world of film photography and want to learn the fundamentals of black and white film processing.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have not only developed your own roll of black and white film but also created a series of prints from your negatives. "Intro to Darkroom" provides a solid foundation for those eager to explore analog photography, offering the tools and understanding needed to continue developing and printing your own work in the future.
The workshop provides 1 roll of film, and 10 sheets of photographic paper for developing and printing during class time. The workshop also includes 3 additional weeks of membership - so you can continue to come in and develop more film and make more prints (you will need to provide your own extra film and paper for lab time outside of classes).
You’ll need to come stop by Franklin FOTO prior to class to pick up your roll of film. It will need to be shot before class so that you can develop and print your own photo!
